This is a way to try and meditate. Created by Lilroze.

Other forms of meditation may be placed here as well below.

Do you ever want to know who may be around you?

Here is one way to peek and see on the “other side” of who maybe around you on the other side.

Sit in a quiet calm spot. This could be a chair, out side, or any where you feel calm and have some concentration of your self.

What I would do is sit and shut your eyes. Sit there calm and breath slow and easy. In hale and ex hale at a steady calm breathing form. Take a few minutes to do this.

Now that you are breathing calm and eyes are shut, think on relaxing from your toes, to your knees, hips, waist, stomach, back, spine, shoulders, arms, wrists, finger tips, neck, scalp, face, eyes, nose, mouth, and relax.

While you are doing this, imagine your self in a special non harmful place such as a path put right in a flower field.

Sun is perfect on your skin and feels so cozy around you. You decide to walk down this path breathing fresh air and notice certain scents of flowers that are so sweet and perfect in all ways of beauty of flowers. You don't touch them you just admire them.

You noticed the path you are walking on is flat stones and it feels smooth in texture as you also noticed you are barefoot just so you can feel the ground walking. You decide to run in happiness and enjoying the breeze go through your hair and face and body.

You all of a sudden in wondering whats a head of you because you notice a stone seating to sit on. So you excitingly slow down to approach the stone seat. You notice its the look of almost a gazebo but no top because of the nice sun light hitting everything looks best naturally.

As you sit you notice someone is standing right there and is turning around from facing the flowers to face you. You watch them turn around and you feel you do know this person. You then see a face. Very detailing face. You then start to smile and notice them smiling back at you.

You feel so comforted and happy.

This person who you are looking at tells you there name. You may notice there is another person and you ask there name. You then ask one question and you listen to what they say. They give you an answer and you thank them and you then get up from sitting on the stone seating. You don't want to leave but they give you the sense they will be right there where you can come again and see them with comfort.

You then start walking back down the beautiful path and notice a butterfly happily going to each flower. You smile and keep walking to right where you had started on the path. You then stand in exact spot where you were and you then open your eyes, you are awake and have the name of someone you recognize or the name of your guardian who is always around you since you came here to be born. Or you may know the person who passed away and that was who you may have seen.

You probably feel more at peace and more refreshed from this experience. I hope this experience has helped.

Do feel free to try this as many times as you would like.

How to sit like ZEN Master

Sit down, preferably on any cushion.

Your knees should be lower than your hips (whether you sit in a chair or cross-legged).

Keep your spine straight, erect, but not rigid.

Draw the chin in slightly.

Swing slightly to the left and right, then forward and back like a pendulum.

You should come to rest with your center of gravity at a point about two or three inches below your navel.

Try to push the top and back of your head upwards so there is strength in your neck.

Put your hands in your lap, the first knuckles of the middle fingers resting on top of each other, thumbs touching lightly.

Your tongue should just touch the roof of your mouth behind your top incisors.

Breathe. Full deep breaths (from the bottom of the belly) are best, but don't force anything.

Count your breath from one to ten. Exhale on the odd numbers. Inhale on the even numbers. Watch your breath and your posture.

Concentrate on being in-the-moment. Pay no attention to any outside thoughts that arise. These are natural.

If you find yourself becoming distracted by your thoughts then the problem is likely your posture.

Ensure the spine is erect and the body weight is centered at a point two or three inches below the navel.

Repeat daily.

Meditation using Prayer beads.

Meditation using beads..... Many religions have their own prayer beads or rosary. A rosary consists of pearls or beads linked together by a thread. Catholics use a string of beads containing five sets with ten small beads. Each set of ten is separated by another bead. The Hindu and Buddhist rosary has 108 beads and the Muslim rosary 99 beads. Prayers and specific meditations of each religion are different and there are theological reasons for the number of beads. Rosaries may come in different colors, sizes and designs. However, the central purpose, which is to pray repetitively and to meditate, is the same across all religions that use them as a prayer tool.

Heres another meditation and information.

Silence your mind. Once you've trained your mind to focus on just one thing at a time, the next step is focus on nothing at all, essentially "clearing" your mind.

This requires tremendous discipline but is the pinnacle of meditation. After focusing on a single point as described in the previous step, you can either cast it away, or observe it impartially and let it come and then go, without labeling it as "good" or "bad".

Take the same approach to any thoughts which return to your mind until silence perseveres. ......

Find or create a quiet, relaxing environment. It's especially important, when you're starting out, to avoid any obstacles to attention. Turn off any TV sets, phone(s) or other noisy appliances. If you play music, make sure it's calm, repetitive and gentle, so as not to break your concentration.

Meditating outside can be conducive, as long as you don't sit near a busy roadway or another source of loud noise. ......

Sit on level ground. Sit on a cushion if the ground is uncomfortable. You don't have to twist your limbs into the lotus position or adopt any unusual postures.

The important thing is to keep your back straight, as this will help with breathing later on. ......

Keep your eyes half-open without focusing on anything. If this is too distracting or difficult, close them or find something steady to focus on such as a small candle flame. .....

Breathe deeply and slowly from your abdomen rather than your chest. You should feel your stomach rise and fall while your chest stays relatively still. .....

Relax every muscle in your body. Don't rush this, as it takes time to fully relax. Do it bit by bit, starting at your toes, and working up to your head, until the tension melts away. .....

Focus your attention. You may notice that your mind wants to wander, bouncing from thought to thought, making observations about other things. Gently bring your attention back to a single point until it rests there naturally. The goal is to allow the "chattering" in your mind to gradually fade away. Find an "anchor" to settle your mind. .....

You should be comfortable enough to concentrate, but not so comfortable that you feel the urge to fall asleep. .....

Set aside a specific time each day for meditation, but don't over do it.

If 20-30 minutes in the morning isn't enough, add another session later in the day instead of trying for a single, longer session. info from : wikihow

How to Become Mentally and Spiritually Emancipated

Emancipation is possible for anyone.

Three aspects of our selves can be bonded, thus making us immobile: physical, mental, and spiritual.

This article will focus on emancipating the mind, the springboard of action.

Breathe deeply over and over in order to attain a level of relaxation.

Free your mind from the bonds of the body, the nervousness, the anxiety, the feelings of being tied down. You are not shackled; you are not a rock.

If you are experiencing difficulty, engage in yoga practices or pick up a copy of "Zen Mind Beginner's Mind" by Shunryu Suzuki.

Be patient and you will be rewarded. Find ways to remove all negative thoughts, all vices, all neurons of darkness, and all the things that created your own personal bondage.

You are you; you are in control; you can do it.

Check out Ralph Waldo Emerson's essay "Self-Reliance" (less than twenty pages and it will change your way of thinking, for the better).

Read and be freed from social restraints, ideas and people.

Find a sense of purpose. Ask yourself, why should I be emancipated?

What will I receive?

Remember, you will benefit from freeing yourself.
