"Prophecy Prediction"

Prophecy Prediction has been around for quite some time. Even as far back as Egypt where the people there gave forecasts of dire things as an outcome of the changing conditions. This still all over the world is happening.

There are a number of prophecies and predictions that have stood the test of time. They dealt with things that hadn't even been invented when their prophet authors pronounced them. Neither the intellect nor the analytical mind could have influenced them, because these events came to pass many years, even centuries later.

One thing is the Bible's Revelations provided our first introduction to the world of prophecy. The Bible makes it clear that "your lay people shall become your prophets". We are witnessing this phenomenon today.

Some of the prophecy people are: Native prophecies, White Buffalo Woman story, Nostradamus prophecies, Cayce's and de DeSabato's works, Mayan traditions, Bible and more.

"And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams" ACT 2:17

Have you had predictions? If so, your welcome to share.

I recently found this question in the Everyspirit web search.

Being outside of ones physical body, what is that?

What I will explain is that when some one meditates they may place them selves in view to see the other side. This can be done through practice of meditations. I have this information available under meditation on the home page.

Being out side of ones physical body could also be expressed to be spiritual experiences.

Not to disconnect from your physical being self but to allow you of your soul spirit to travel away from your physical body such as astro projection.

Many people go through this experience. Some times you may awaken with a jump or slam back into your body and awaken wondering what happened. Remind your self to come back to your body easy and slow before you go to sleep at night.

I believe you are always connected to your physical body till your life path has been called to be finished.

I also have astro projection available on the home page as well under "Dreams".

Triskaidekaphobia Friday the 13th

Triskaidekaphobia

Triskaidekaphobia (from Greek tris meaning "3," kai meaning "and," and deka meaning "10") is fear of the number 13; it is a superstition and related to a specific fear of Friday the 13th, called paraskevidekatriaphobia or friggatriskaidekaphobia.

There is a common myth that the earliest reference to thirteen being unlucky or evil is from the Babylonian Code of Hammurabi (circa 1780 B.C.E.), where the thirteenth law is omitted. In fact, the original Code of Hammurabi has no numeration. The translation by L.W. King (1910) edited by Richard Hooker has omitted one article:

If the seller have gone to (his) fate (i. e., have died), the purchaser shall recover damages in said case fivefold from the estate of the seller.

Other translations of the Code of Hammurabi, i.e. the translation by Robert Francis Harper, contain the 13th article.

Some Christian traditions have it that at the Last Supper, Judas, the disciple who betrayed Jesus, was the 13th to sit at the table. However, the number 13 is not uniformly bad in the Judeo-Christian tradition. For example, the 13 attributes of God (also called the thirteen attributes of mercy) are enumerated in the Torah (Exodus 34: 6-7). Some modern Christian churches also use 13 attributes of God in sermons.

Triskaidekaphobia may have also affected the Vikings—it is believed that Loki in the Norse pantheon was the 13th god. More specifically, Loki was believed to have engineered the murder of Baldr, and was the 13th guest to arrive at the funeral. This is perhaps related to the superstition that if thirteen people gather, one of them will die in the following year. Another Norse tradition involves the myth of Norna-Gest: when the uninvited norns showed up at his birthday celebration—thus increasing the number of guests from ten to thirteen— the norns cursed the infant by magically binding his lifespan to that of a mystic candle they presented to him.

Ancient Persians believed the twelve constellations in the Zodiac controlled the months of the year, and each ruled the earth for a thousand years at the end of which the sky and earth collapsed in chaos. Therefore, the thirteenth is identified with chaos and the reason Persians leave their houses to avoid bad luck on the thirteenth day of the Persian Calendar, a tradition called Sizdah Bedar.

In 1881, an influential group of New Yorkers led by U.S. Civil War veteran Captain William Fowler came together to put an end to this and other superstitions. They formed a dinner cabaret club, which they called the Thirteen Club. At the first meeting, on Friday 13 January 1881 at 8:13 p.m., 13 people sat down to dine in room 13 of the venue. The guests walked under a ladder to enter the room and were seated among piles of spilled salt. All of the guests survived. Thirteen Clubs sprang up all over North America for the next 40 years. Their activities were regularly reported in leading newspapers, and their numbers included five future U.S. presidents, from Chester A. Arthur to Theodore Roosevelt. Thirteen Clubs had various imitators, but they all gradually faded from interest as people became less superstitious.

On Friday, 13 October 1307, the Knights Templar were ordered arrested by Philip IV of France. The theory has been suggested, in the book Born in Blood: The Lost Secrets of Freemasonry by John J. Robinson, that the Templars went underground among masons in England and later developed into Freemasons. Because most of the founding fathers of the United States of America were Freemasons, it is possible the memory of the terror of that day is preserved in the Friday the 13th.

Tetraphobia, fear of the number 4 — (phonetically similar to 'death') in Korea, China, and Japan, as well as in many East-Asian and some Southeast-Asian countries, it's not uncommon for buildings (including offices, apartments, hotels) to lack floors with the number 4, and Finnish mobile phone manufacturer Nokia's 1xxx-9xxx series of mobile phones does not include any model numbers beginning with a 4. In Taiwan, tetraphobia is so common that there are no 4s or x4s for hospitals.

17 is Italy's unlucky number, because in Roman digits 17 is written XVII, that could be rearranged to "VIXI," which in Latin means literally "I have lived" but can be a euphemism for "I am dead."[6] Cesana Pariol, the bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton track used for the 2006 Winter Olympics, had turn 17 originally named "Senza Nome" ("without name" in (Italian)), but the turn was renamed in 2007 in honor of luger Paul Hildgartner.

Paraskavedekatriaphobia is the fear of Friday the 13th, which is considered to be a day of bad luck in a number of western cultures. In Romanian, Greek and Hispanic cultures, Tuesday the 13th is considered unlucky.

Latinos celebrate 'Dia de los Muertos'

By Dalina Castellanos, Herald staff writer

PASCO -- Though last night's ghouls and goblins have hung up their costumes, some Tri-Citians continue to wait for a visit from some spirits.

Homemade altars are a common sight in many Latino households as part of the Dia de los Muertos holiday, coinciding with All Saints' and All Souls' Days Nov. 1-2.

Those who want to honor the dead set up tables with flickering candles called veladoras, glasses of water, fruit and pan de muerto a couple of days before to welcome back the spirits of their loved ones.

Pan de muerto, round loaves of sweet bread, are one of the most iconic items on the altars, and Mexican bakeries have been working long hours to get ready.

The ovens at Viera's bakery in downtown Pasco have been churning out the special bread for two weeks, said baker Andres Atriano. Loaves are about $2.

"This bread is a bit more rich," Atriano said, explaining it uses more egg and butter than other recipes.

Traditional loaves have dough criss-crossed on the top to symbolize bones and are used as an offering or are shared among the living during gatherings to honor the dead.

Traditionally, it's believed the spirits get thirsty and hungry on their long journey back home, said Olivia Trejo, with the Mexican food store Super Mex in Pasco.

So the offerings, or ofrendas, usually include the decadent breads, decorated sugar skulls called calaveras, candles and fruits, along with photos of the loved ones and some of their favorite things.

When Trejo's mother builds an altar for her loved ones, she includes cigarettes and soda "to make their visit more pleasant," Trejo said in Spanish.

Inocente Sandoval of Benton City ordered 20 breads shaped like giant gingerbread men from Pasco's Panaderia Tecoman.

"We're used to making a large altar for the holiday," he said.

The breads, each with a different name spelled in strawberry jam, are for the 73-year-old's parents, siblings and other family members who have died.

"We only leave it out for a couple of days," he said, adding that he doesn't leave out personalized items because there are too many, "but I'm sure they appreciate it anyway."

Panaderia Tecoman's co-owner Sonia Blanco said they're more than happy to customize the bread.

"It's nice to remember them in that way," she said in Spanish.

Blanco and her husband, Hector, began building their own altars when Hector's father died seven years ago.

"We've been building one for him ever since," she said, adding that Hector leaves bottles of his dad's favorite beer on the altar.

When they opened the bakery six years ago, there was no doubt they'd bake the special bread for others to add to their altars.

"This year we're expecting to sell 1,000 panes de muerto," said Hector as he was feverishly working in his Pasco bakery.

Here is a link that was put out today Nov 2 2009. Not sure howlong it will be available but I just have to share....

http://www.newsweek.com/id/165410?GT1=43002

Near Death Experience or N.D.E.

Has this happen to you or a loved one?

What is Near Death Experience?

There is an abbreviation known as N.D.E.

A near death experience may be expressed by a person when a person dies and can see them selves out side there own physical body as a spirit or soul looking at there body. They would actually be viewing them selves dead. Some times they see people working on there bodies like doctors, to make them have a heart rate or grasp air to breath.

Doctors may claim a NDE is when you are clinically declared dead and no heart rate or breathing is showing on your physical body. The dead physical body would then come back to full operation of breathing and heart rate.

At times a person who is in NDE may see others who are passed away and actually tell them it's not time and to go back to your body. Some type of message is shared to let that person know it is not finished or time to let go of your physical body.

Some people may express they get a tunnel like vision view before they come out of there physical bodies. They would start seeing them selves dead, viewing there physical body with an angel, spirit, passed away person or even passed away animals would be there ready to respond with a message to return to there body. To notice the message was also to apply when they are alive again.

Messages maybe of anything to help or warn an individual. A forever change in the persons life path. An experience of what is more of than being a physical human being. Some people maybe enlightened or have fear. Each person may take the experience and not be able to fully understand what truly just happened to them or they could just have a huge turn around in there life that stopped there path to go towards a path that is up lifting to all around them and them selves personally.

Some may claim that when on the other side they are surrounded by a wonderful safe secure glow or light that automatically helps you know the truth of being in comfort and no worry. Just pure love and just being there. Even the slightest thought of questioning was instantly fulfilled with no worry or fear. Seems they felt they been there before and know they must return and continue there life path.

There are experiences where a person may go through pure darkness while going through a NDE and it was terrifying and full of fear, just unpleasant but then the light comes to them and surrounds them with security and no more lost feeling or darkness to be found. One may then also see that they are told to come back and return with an unforgettable experience. One might even describe what a doctor said or did while in an operation. Maybe a total different person came in the operating room and spoke of words and left then the NDE person told them all about that unknown person and even the doctors would be in shock or amazed at what was expressed or shared.

So many true events that happen to people with near death.

Have you or someone you know had this experience?

What happened?

Did you have a life changing event after a Near Death Experience?

Yep!

Its the last last set of repeating, single-digit dates that we will see for about a century (until January 1, 2101), or a millennium (mark your calendars for January 1, 3001), depending on how you want to count it.

Cultures are known to in which the number nine is lucky. September 9 is anticipated while others might see the date as an ominous warning. So what does it mean to you? That is truelly the question. Maybe you want to celebrate and make history in your own way to remeber 09/09/09 like some people have on 07/07/07. People claim 07/07/07 is a lucky day to get married, play lottery, and gambling.

The sum of the 2 digits resulting from 9 multiplied by any other single-digit number will equal 9. So 9x3=27, and 2+7=9.

Multiply nine by any two, three or four-digit number and the sums of those will also break down to nine. For example: 9x62 = 558; 5+5+8=18; 1+8=9.

Sept. 9 also happens to be the 252nd day of the year (2 + 5 +2).

Both China and Japan have strong feelings about the number nine. Those feelings just happen to be on opposite ends of the spectrum.

The Chinese pulled out all the stops to celebrate their lucky number eight during last year's Summer Olympics, ringing the games in at 8 p.m. on 08/08/08. What many might not realize is that nine comes in second on their list of auspicious digits and is associated with long life, due to how similar its pronunciation is to the local word for long-lasting (eight sounds like wealth).

Historically, ancient Chinese emperors associated themselves closely with the number nine, which appeared prominently in architecture and royal dress, often in the form of nine fearsome dragons. The imperial dynasties were so convinced of the power of the number nine that the palace complex at Beijing's Forbidden City is rumored to have been built with 9,999 rooms.

Japanese emperors would have never worn a robe with nine dragons, however.

In Japanese, the word for nine is a homophone for the word for suffering, so the number is considered highly unlucky – second only to four, which sounds like death.

Many Japanese will go so far as to avoid room numbers including nine at hotels or hospitals, if the building planners haven't already eliminated them altogether.
